The SUNY Potsdam women's softball team ended its season on a high note in sweeping St. Lawrence in a doubleheader onWednesday afternoon. The Bears took the first game 5-3 and the second game 3-1. Brittany Pawlowski (West Seneca/West Seneca) pitched the first game going seven innings and giving up four hits, three runs (one earned), three walks, and she struck out five.

The Lady Bears were taking on the Buffalo State Bengals. Potsdam did end up losing the game 3-0, but they improved their record from the 2007-2008 season.
