Ah, yet another week down in the NFL season and yet another Jets loss. What's going on Rex Ryan? They looked unstoppable last week against the Raiders and then they get beat up by the Dolphins… again. Sanchez is still looking pretty dirty though. Kid can play some pigskin if you ask me. Let me put it this way, the Jets future looks pretty good.

The Rangers, after two losses last week against some sub-par teams, 'cough Islanders cough,' are finally winning again. Marion Gaborik led the 'Blue Shirts' to a 1-0 victory over a tough Boston Bruins team. Lundqvist played an exceptional game in goal as he recorded a shutout. What's good?

Now to one of my favorite things to write about-athletes acting immature and stupid.

My victim this week is Brandon Jacobs the New York Giants starting running back. The Giants were set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles this week and Jacobs ran his mouth to some of the fans. He seemed to be smack talking to the fans and in the end it didn't turn out well for the Giants or Jacobs. The Eagles murdered the Giants 40-17. Yes, that's right all you Giants fans out there, can you say three-game losing streak?

The New York Yankees. All of you can hate me but I'm going to give you a piece of my mind. They have finally made it to the World Series after spending upwards of 300 million dollars in free agency this past offseason. 300 million dollars is a ridiculous amount of money to be spending on just three players. But I'll give it to you, they have so far been pretty good but nowhere near worth the 300 million dollars that was spent on them. I'm saying that if you spend that much money on Texiera, Sabbathia, and Burnett then they should all be in the MVP race; Sabbathia and Burnett should be numbers one and two in the Cy Young award voting. That's the way I'm looking at it. In my mind they are not worth the 300 million, yet. If the Yanks somehow win the World Series I will give Texiera, Burnett and Sabbathia the credit they deserve. But I'm going to give the bulk of the credit to Derek Jeter. The man is a true legend of the game and he deserves to win the World Series one more time before he retires. But for the rest of the players on that team, I don't think they played up to their potential.

Now if the Yankees do win on Thursday night, you probably will be reading my column too late. So none of this will do you any good. But, if the Phillies do push the Yankees to a Game 7, then my point stills stands. Good luck. See ya next week!
