Students who have purchased VIP tickets will be able to attend the VIP reception from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. On the menu is gourmet cheese, crackers and a fruit display followed by three themed displays. A Mediterranean display will feature vegetables with Greek dip, pita, hummus and spanakopitas. The Latin display will feature chips with guacamole, salsa and chicken quesadilla cornucopia. The Asian display will feature sushi, wasabi, ginger with spring rolls and Thai purses.
Students who have not purchased VIP tickets are able to attend the main event - the Snow Ball - from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. While the event is free, attendees are suggested to donate $3 per person or $5 per couple. All the proceeds will go towards the Student Gift, a fund that this year goes to the greatest needs of Potsdam students.
"People should go to the Snow Ball because it's a great opportunity to get dressed up and have fun with your friends, dancing and having a good time," said Joseph Bernier, senior anthropology major and Coordinator at the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership.
The Max Howard Trio will provide entertainment.
