It's hard to believe that the spring semester is here already, and by spring, I really mean the coldest few months of your life. With this horrible weather comes a touch of sad news; I will be resigning as Comics Editor for The Racquette.

What it comes down to is that I have a very loaded plate. There's turkey and stuffing and green beans as far as the eye can see, and this unfortunately means I no longer have enough room for the sweet side dish of mashed potatoes and gravy that is The Racquette.

Sometimes I wish there was a great scandal attached to my resignation as with Nixon, or some other such public figure whose reputation suffered a beating. But as it were I manage to escape with my dignity, at least what's left of it. Now for the logistics: this will be my last column, and the last comic of mine that will grace the pages of this publication.

As for this comic, those of you who've been here longer than you care to admit might recognize these guys from way back, but if you're new to campus or new to my section, then these characters won't be as familiar.

Even if they are unfamiliar, I hope everyone can still have a little laugh. I've certainly loved my time here with The Racquette, and I am all too sad to leave it now. But now I believe it is time for one more story with a little bit of laughter.

So I don't know how many of you watch anything that comes out of homestarrunner.com, but for those of you who enjoy the shorts and wonderful magic that come from this site, you're going to enjoy this little bit. I was working for a friend of my Dad's who owns a pizzeria in Buffalo. I was doing menial stuff, like inventory and some bookkeeping. One day I was going over the reports from the previous month, the ones that the cashiers run at the end of the night. I was adding up totals and such and putting them into an Excel file.

About half way through the month I noticed that the top of the reports, where the header was, was spelled quite incorrectly. The name of the pizzeria is Abbott Road Pizza. The top of all of these reports read "Abbott Road Pizzz."

Now this of course meant that any receipt handed to a customer was printed out with the same flaw. The hilariousness of the Piz rushed to my mind, if you haven't seen the Piz, FOR SHAME. If you have, I hope you're laughing right now, because I sure had a good chuckle about it.

Goodbye for now, everyone. I hope you all have fruitful semesters and pleasant days ahead.
